Malai chicken tikka is creamy and soft. Many malai chicken recipes use hung curd for a thicker coating. However, thick malai is sufficient. This malai tikka recipe is easier and quicker than most. Definitely delicious. Try other kebab recipes on Cukzy.
Ingredients:
1/2 kg boneless, cut into 2″ pieces
3 tbsp green masala (blend half bunch coriander leaves, 6 – 7 green chillies, and handful of mint leaves)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp Cream or Malai
Oil
Method:
1. Marinate the chicken in green masala, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and salt for half an hour.
2. Add in the cream or malai and mix well. Allow to marinate for about 20 minutes.
3. Pour in a teaspoon of oil and grill the chicken pieces in the oven at 180 C for 15 – 20 minutes. You can also shallow fry them on a non-stick grill pan. Grease the pan with a little oil before frying.
