Here is an easy to make bread starters. Three steps, couple of home ingredients and your spicy bread discs are ready!
Ingredients:
- 4 slices bread
- 4 – 5 green chilies, chopped
- 4 tbsp coriander, chopped
- 4 tbsp curd
- 4 tbsp semolina (rava)
- 2 tbsp red chili powder
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 2 clove garlic minced
- Salt to taste.
- Oil for frying
Method:
- Soak the bread slices in water for half a minute and then squeeze the bread between the palms of your hand to drain water.
- Mix all the ingredients together with the bread and knead into dough.
- Divide the dough into equal parts, flatten and shallow fry.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
