Ingredients:
100 grams green peas
100 grams carrots, diced
2 potatoes
100 grams french beans
3 slices bread
2 to 4 green chillies
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
Oil for frying
Salt to taste
For the curd:
2 tbsp tamarind juice
250 grams curd
1 tsp sugar
Method:
1. Boil all the vegetables and mash them together. Add salt and dry spice powders to this.
2. Soak bread in water. Squeeze the water and mix the bread with the vegetables. Wet hands and make vegetable balls.
3. Add green chillies and chopped coriander leaves.
4. In a separate large bowl, beat curd with sugar. Add in the tamarind juice.
5. In a kadhai, heat oil for deep frying. Fry the vegetable balls till golden brown.
6. Place the fried vegetable vadas in the curd mixture. Allow to stand for fifteen minutes.
Serve.
