Sweet ‘n’ Spicy Ice Cream with Lychees

Our chef brings to you an ice cream recipe that’s simple, and involves the right amounts of flavours – from sweet to spicy. That’s right – here is an ice cream summer treat with a dash of spice that will be loved by children as well as adults.

Sweet and Spicy Ice Cream with Lychees

Ingredients:

Vanilla ice cream, 1 litre

Dates, 15 pieces roughly chopped

Fresh or canned lychees, 15 pieces roughly chopped

Honey, 4 tsp

Walnuts, 50 grams roughly chopped

Green chilly, 3 (seeds only)

 

Method:

1. Heat a non-stick pan. Add in the dates and honey. Soften the dates on low flame.

2. Soften the ice cream. Add in the dates and honey mixture, along with lychees, and walnuts.

3. Add in the green chilly seeds. Mix well. Freeze.

Your sweet and spicy ice cream with lychees is now ready to serve. The green chilly seeds are sure to surprise the taste buds of your guests!
